YESTERDAY we were able to bounce back into some winning form and I hope you managed to jump on early and snap up the overs. I’ve had a look today and I feel quite confident that we can go back to back and build up the bank before the weekend.
Leg 1 – Angle Park – Race 10: Kisai Blade To Place $1.83
Kisai Blade is probably better suited to a longer journey but he is ideally drawn out wide and he should be in the mix for the entire trip. He is armed with a great turn of speed and if the pink stays out of his way early he should be able to balance up in around third or fourth spot. He is a great winning chance but for multi purposes I think the place is the better option and hopefully he can get us off to a flying start.
Leg 2 – Ballarat – Race 10: Belena Prince To Win $2
Belena Prince can be a little hard to follow at times but he has his draw tonight and he showed he is in good condition with a slick 22.18 Warrnambool win. He generally steps quite well and he will go into overdrive quickly and that should allow him to glide across and assume control. He is a hard chaser to reel in when on the lure and although he is short at the even money he does appear to be a nice bet.
Leg 3 – Bendigo – Race 5: Miss Monteya To Win $3
Miss Monteya doesn’t have great form but she is dropping considerably in class tonight and from the red draw she should get every chance to lead from go to whoa. Three starts back she showed great early speed when narrowly beaten at Ballarat over 545m and due to her flat spot mid race she is probably better suited back up to this journey. The $3 is a big price and I’m expecting her to start around the even money quote come jump time, so I suggest you snap up those odds nice and early.
