Wentworth Park Friday greyhound tips & value bets | May 3, 2024

Friday afternoon racing returns to Wentworth Park as the 715 final in Newcastle takes the coveted Friday night spotlight. There are 11 races on the program, with the first to begin at 3:24pm local time. Australian Racing Greyhound has had a look at all the runners and picked out a few likely winners.
Race 7: Stop It (3)
After being beaten less than a length in the Listed Ultra Sense, Stop It came out and destroyed a fifth-grade field in 29.58 off this same box. He stays in fifth grade, and if anything this race is easier than last week’s assignment. He has 10 wins and three placings from 17 starts and is a genuine up-and-coming Group 1 greyhound.

Stop It (3)
Form: 21121 | Career: 17: 10-4-1 | Trainer: Jason Magri
Race 1: Pearl Of Maui (2)
This girl is two-from-two in her career, both in good times over the 300m at Richmond. Her blinding early pace has served her well so far, and if she shows the same kind of zip in this race, she will be first out and first home. Pearl Of Maui is extremely well bred and has an exciting future ahead of her.

Pearl Of Maui (2)
Form: 11 | Career: 2: 2-0-0 | Trainer: Kerry Drynan
Race 9: Rhyno’s Magic (2)
This girl has been so consistent of late and saluted on her first look at the track last week, which is encouraging. All of her wins have been from the inside three boxes, so box two is a distinct advantage. While there is some early pace in this race, if she can get away cleanly and she improves on her first look at Wenty, Rhyno’s Magic will represent great value with the top greyhound bookmakers.
