I’m Pedro hasn’t been racing with much luck of late and I’m expecting him to show a lot more improvement in this company. In recent weeks he has been finding bother soon after the start and therefore he has been unable to make an impact, tonight he has speed drawn underneath so he should get a nice cart into the race from the three and he should then take over as they head into the first bend.
Smooth Number is in rare form and he hit the line when scoring here last week in 30.20. In that effort he found some bother in running so with a clear run tonight I would expect him to go a lot quicker on the clock.
Von Ryan has a good record here and he should settle near the speed, the box draw isn’t great but he did post his impressive 29.98 PB here from this draw.
Cawbourne Power must be included in your exotics, he doesn’t win very often but he is never far away in this type of company.
Top Four: 4 – 2 – 5 – 8

Jumble finally showed his true potential last time out and I think he is ready to take the next step. Last week he turned in an almighty performance when placed behind star sprinter Chica Destacada, on that occasion he was fair to begin and he managed to find some bother as they headed into the first turn so he probably should have finished even closer to the winner. From the pink tonight he should get a clear run early and if he gets across he should prove too zippy for his rivals.
Winsome Mission set the track alight here two runs back when winning in 29.68 and he should start the favourite, he has won five of eight to date in explosive fashion and if Jack Kade doesn’t get in his way early he will prove hard to hold out.
Ella Has Class is another one who scored a ridiculously fast win here two runs back and she too can feature with some luck early, she can be slow to begin at times so I’m not too keen on her winning hopes tonight.
Lorella Fire is showing some promise and she must be included in your exotics, while Jack Kade has the early speed to lead them up and he too could hold on for a place.
Top Four: 8 – 2 – 5 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Jumble with Sportingbet

Tough race but I think the former Tasmanian Varcoe can get the job done. Last time out he resumed from a spell with a top 472m Bulli placing and he should have derived a lot of benefit from that run. There isn’t a lot of speed drawn directly on his outside so if he can step away cleanly he should be able to drive through and hold a prominent position in the early stages.
Eton Gold has come up with the coveted rails draw and he does his best racing from this pin, I dont think he can hold Varcoe out but he should be able to camp just behind him and fill the quinella spot.
Abunda is racing in great form at present and he possesses smart early speed, if he crosses the inside two he might be able to steal a race winning break as they head to the back straight.
Mr. Fordham could be the value in the event, he was fair when resuming from a lengthy spell last time but he did trial well before that and he should turn in an improved effort.
Top Four: 2 – 1 – 5 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Varcoe with Sportingbet
Trifecta: 1,2/1,2/Field ($12 for 100%)

Gold Dawn is yet to win here in 10 tries but she has turned in some very handy efforts of late and she finds herself in a very winnable race. She is normally very good to begin and the early pressure is going to come from the outside, so if she can step on terms she should have enough natural speed to hold them out at the first turn. This is not a very strong race so if she leads she should have enough in the tank to hold on in the final 50 metres.
Kasinda should match motors with Gold Dawn for most of the trip and she too is getting close to another win, if she was drawn underneath Gold Dawn she would be my top pick, however because she is drawn on the outside I think she might be posted wide for most of the trip so the quinella spot looks best.
Stunning Ashberg hit the line solidly when placed here last week and she shouldn’t be too far away again, I dont think she can win but she would be a great anchor for third and fourth in your exotics.
Santorini Blue rounds out the chances, he has been disappointing here of late but if he can sight the bunny early he may turn in an improved effort.
Top Four: 6 – 8 – 3 – 7
Suggested Bets:

Good race and I think the classy Dusty Moonshine should find this race to her liking. In recent times she has found the going tough against the nation’s best stayers but last time out she dropped back in class at The Gardens and she destroyed a field which is similar to what she meets tonight. If she can get away cleanly and settle in the top three, she should prove far too good for this lot.
Stargate System made his Wentworth Park debut last time out and he powered to the line when scoring in 42.63, I think he will be giving Dusty Moonshine too big of a head start but he should be able to run home into the quinella spot.
Ritza Ruby should settle somewhere near the speed and she was a top 42.35 winner here three runs back, she can be a little hit or miss early but if she gets away she should run a cheeky race.
Raramuri is rarely far away in this company and she has a slick 42.15 PB here, she may get shuffled back a bit early but she can run home into a place.
Top Four: 7 – 8 – 4 – 3

Topper Road is armed with explosive early speed and if he can step away he should be able to burn them off and score. Last week he went through the first marker in a blistering 5.39 before going on to score in 29.97, that was his first run for a few weeks so if he finds the top again tonight I would expect him to go a little quicker overall.
Whittaker is a star in the making and if he can avoid early bother he will take a power of beating, he has plenty on this lot ability wise but I’m concerned about the draw because he can miss away and he is likely to find early bother.
Hazy Rainbow showed tremendous improvement here last week and she should be in the mix again, this is obviously a big class rise but she does possess early speed and she appears to be getting better with more racing.
Top Four: 8 – 5 – 7 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Topper Road with Sportingbet

Winsome Jacko is the real deal and it’s hard to see him being beaten tonight, in his two efforts here of late he has been slow to begin but tonight he has two slow beginners directly on his outside so he should get plenty of room to drive through at the first bend. Last week he rated off the charts and with a trouble free run it will be interesting to see if he can go sub 29.50.
Bessy Boo looks the likely quinella, he has been racing against some real top liners of late and he loves racing over this journey, with Winsome Jacko expected to gap this field, he should be able to run over the top of some stragglers in the home straight.
Remote Control has his favourite draw and he shouldn’t be too far away, he should get plenty of room to muster speed early and he is capable of running time when he lands on the bunny.
Cawbourne Rev rounds out the chances, she scored a strong 30.33 win here two runs back and with some luck early she should be in the mix for some minor money.
Top Four: 1 – 7 – 8 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Winsome Jacko with Sportingbet

Zipping Tarn looked very impressive when she overcame some difficulties to score here last week in 29.95 and with a trouble free run tonight she should be able to score in much faster time. There is a little bit of speed on her outside but she does possess good burn after box rise so she should be able to hold Fort Allen out early.
Asia’s Babe is ideally drawn in the pink and she looks well placed in this class, four starts back she scored a sizzling 34.52 Gosford win and if she can settle in the top four early she should be there at the end tonight.
Fort Allen returned to form with a speedy 29.97 win here last week and he should be in the mix for a long way again.
Peter’s Pick could be the value in the event, he has recorded two strong placings here of late and drawn nearer the inside he could run a big race at nice odds.
Top Four: 3 – 8 – 4 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Zipping Tarn with Sportingbet
Trifecta: 3,4,8/2,3,4,8/2,3,4,5,6,8 ($36 for 100%)

Cawbourne Whip returns to her favourite track and she is drawn to make a big impact. She has won six of 18 here and she has a blistering 29.38 PB, there is a bit of speed drawn in the six and seven and that should allow her to get a nice cart across as they head into the first bend. If she settles in the top three early she should prove too strong, so if you can land $2.80 or better that is great over’s.
King Cobber can be hard to follow at times but there is no doubting his talent, back in October he won here in a ridiculous 29.60 and since the he has also scored in very fast time at Nowra, he will need to ping and run to win but that isn’t beyond him.
Watto Lotto is well placed nearer the inside and he is a great place hope, he lacks mid race speed but he will scrape the paint and finish on well.
Magic Dream has the speed to lead and he could give a great sight, with Woods cutting left early he should allow Magic Dream to drive through as they head into the first bend.
Top Four: 8 – 3 – 2 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Cawbourne Whip with Sportingbet
Exacta: 3,8/2,3,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 8 to rove with 2,3,6 ($3 for 100%)

1st: $4,350 2nd: $1,235 3rd: $620.

Miss Dover resumed from a spell with a top effort here last week, after stepping cleanly she led for a long way against Winsome Jacko and she was far from disgraced when beaten by seven lengths. If she can find the early lead tonight she should give a great sight again and this race is a lot weaker than the event she contested last week.
Sexy Opinion should settle just behind Miss Dover and she should run a big race, three starts back she won here in a solid 30.16 and that type of effort again will see her figure prominently.
Black Bronco has been placed here on six occasions and he has strong place claims again, whilst Cosmic Vee Bee is dropping back in distance and she should be steaming home at the end.
Top Four: 5 – 3 – 2 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Miss Dover with Sportingbet
Exacta: 3,5/2,3,4,5 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 5/2,3,4/Field ($18 for 100%)
Quinella: 5 to rove with 2,3,4 ($3 for 100%)
