Wentworth Park hosts 10 top-quality races this Thursday night, with the first set to begin at 6:54pm local time. There are heats of a fifth-grade series for both the boys and the girls, as well as a quality non-graded race. Australian Racing Greyhound has sorted the wheat from the chaff and come up with three of the best bets.
Race 6: Santino Kade (1)
Santino Kade was brilliant in the heats of the Group 3 Young Star Classic before getting poleaxed at the first turn in the final. He has seven wins and two placings from his 13 starts and is unbeaten from an inside draw. He will appreciate the drop in class and the better box draw, and with moderate beginners all around him, he should be leading all the way.

Race 4: Chief Lightning (1)

If he can win the drag race with Classic Story to the first turn, he will bound away and keep his impressive record intact.

Race 10: Make Them Cry (3)
Make Them Cry was desperately unlucky not to win the Group 3 Young Stars Classic, where she was dragged down while crossing to the lead on a wet and boggy track. She won her heat in 29.55 and has shown tremendous early pace, which will serve her well here. She is much better drawn nearer the fence and will appreciate the drop in class and the better box draw.
