Wentworth Park Thursday tips & quaddie | December 12, 2024
Sydney’s Wentworth Park track plays host to 11 top-class greyhound races this Thursday night, with the first to begin at 6:42pm local time. It will be a great night of racing with the heats of a fifth-grade series for the boys and the girls, a couple of maiden heats and a great masters race. Australian Racing Greyhound has delved deep into the form to find you three of the best bets for the December 12 meeting.
Race 9: Gold Force (1)
Gold Force finally had his colours lowered in a close second to Zipping Serrano here last start. The box was no help, as he was held wide the whole trip, but this week from the perfect draw he should be very tough to beat. He was four from four before that and ran a flying time from his only inside draw at Goulburn. Expect him to begin better here, hold the rails and record a fast victory.

Race 4: Black Myth Wave (1)
Black Myth Wave was unlucky last week in the same race as Gold Force. He began well and was right in position to strike before getting onto the heels of Zipping Serrano and being checked out of the race. This one is easier than that, and with his elite pace and the perfect box, he should be right on the bunny from the get-go.

Race 10: Coast Rig (3)
Coast Rig is the first pup from champion bitch Coast Model, and he showed plenty of his mum’s ability with a good win at Richmond first-up. This is a big step up in class and distance, but if this boy continues to improve and has his mother’s pace and determination, he will be in this race for a long way. Online bookmakers are giving us good odds for a dog that is definitely worth following.
