Beyond Blue Charity Greyhound Lifts Spirits

Robert Walls with Charity Greyhound Four WallsThe 3AW Kennel is firing on all cylinders at the moment following successive wins to promising youngster .

Named after AW commentator and AFL great Robert Walls, the trained youngster has now had three starts for two convincing wins at , and earned $1,500 prize money for her assigned , , which raises awareness about depression in society.

Chief caller Rex Hunt has called Four Walls’ past two wins live on 3AW, with his enthusiasm sending the commentary box into frenzy.

Four Walls is one of five greyhounds in the 3AW Kennel, all of which are named after AW commentators including Buck’s Chance (Nathan Buckley), Caro’s Bookclub (Caroline Wilson), Cork In Ocean (Dennis Commetti) and Rex’s Rookie (Rex Hunt).

The 3AW greyhound promotion has been running throughout each AFL season since 2006, with over $30,000 in prize money raised for three nominated charities – Beyond Blue, Challenge Cancer and the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre.

Four Walls will aim for her third straight win at Cranbourne on Monday, June 30th (Race 7 Box 7 @ 6.12pm).
