Bogie Blue Draws Red Again At Albion Park

Ryan Ayre's speedy chaser Bogie Blue will jump from box one again this week after winning solidly on Monday night from the same box.

The Lindale Blue – Bogie Benz performer will start in this week's Big Dog Racing Supplements Best Eight over 520m, and on Monday ran a very sharp first sectional of 5.78, and finished in 30.49 despite some strong winds on the night.

However, Thursday night's field will be slightly harder for Bogie Blue, with Ron Ball's kennel star Ryan's A Rocket in box five and consistent dog Premier Chief in box three.

Ryan's A Rocket sped away from last week in Brisbane to score a very solid 30.37 in again unfavourable, windy conditions, with a blistering first section of 5.70 from box two.

The short odds contender for the Brisbane Greyhound of the Year is sure to contend for the lead from box four, but will have Premier Chief hot on his tale.

Premier Chief, who has drawn box three, continues to rack up the prize money finishing in the top three in three consecutive starts in Brisbane.

The -trained dog is an honest runner, and should never be left out of the exotics, especially the first four jackpot on this race.

Another to keep an eye on in this is from box two, who has been running flat lately but is capable of a turn of foot any start.

Other Best Eight racing this Thursday night is the Brandons Electrical 710m (Race Two).

Last week saw track veteran dominate with a win under the guide of new trainer Thomas Noble.

Winning by a nose ahead of , Irish Fantasy was a very strong finisher and it may be a sign of re-birth for the 96-start dog.

But it will be a tough challenge for her, with Count The Dough on her inside in box six, who also has a vacant inside box.

Count The Dough ran well last week, and has shown great form in recent starts.

She's A Penske will also contest this race from box two, although running flat last week.

Other performers to watch out for this Thursday night include Marella in the fourth and fifth grade Hawkins Solutions 600m.

definitely has top form in Brisbane over the distance with an almost perfect record of four starts for three wins and one second.

His top time of 34.79 from June puts him in the top of his class in Brisbane.
