Go Go Snow posts fastest time in Gawler Sprint Classic heats

Go Go Snow stepped out for her 50th career start and served up a huge run to clock the fastest Sprint Classic heat time on Monday night.

In the 400m heat, the -trained chaser lined up as the +130 favourite in a five-dog field.

Jumping from box one, she used the inside rail to shoot through to the lead and then held the front for the entire trip to beat (+280) by three-and-a-half lengths in 22.51.

Trainer Dunn was delighted with the performance from her chaser.

“We were very happy with her win,” she said.

“Here's hoping she can repeat her performance next week.”

Go Go Snow took to the Gawler 400m quickly, saluting there in her third career start, and has gone on to win 11 times with seven placings from 30 looks at the track and trip.

She will be joined in the $8,000 final on October 29 by the two other heat winners in (22.63) and Universal Value (22.56), along with runners-up (22.74), Magic Poppet (22.76) and Rockin' Rhino (22.80).

The field will be rounded out by the two fastest third-placed chasers: Silk Sonic (22.82) and Sutton Prince (22.94).

Last year's Gawler Sprint Classic was won by Taylor Toves, who worked from the pink box to travel wide and swoop in the finish.
