Great Prizemoney For Short Courser’s And Stayers At Bathurst

Trainers of shortcourse chasers please take note that the Geoff Cooke Plumbing Bullet over 307m on Wednesday 18th March will now be a straight out draw for the Best 8 nominations received.

The event carries a $1,500 winner's purse.

This is due to not enough noms being received to stage two heats at the meeting this weekend.

On the same day Stayers can also nominate for the Trevor Black Memorial – 700m, which is also for the Best 8 nominations received and boasts a $2,500 winner's purse.

Nominations for both races will close with the graders on March 13 at 10am.

Both events complement the Fengore Plant Hire program with over $37,000 in prizemoney up for grabs. The Cup this year is worth $12,500 to the winner.

There is also a $500 on offer to any greyhound which breaks a on the day, courtesy of St George Marketing & Public Relations.
