Greyhound Racing NSW Set To Tweek NSW TAB Grading Policy

Greyhound () has today released a discussion paper on the review of the TAB Grading Policy.

The discussion paper was produced following a series of grading seminars conducted by GRNSW with participants, administrators and industry groups across the state.

Feedback from the seminars found that a full rewrite of the current grading policy was unnecessary and that industry concerns could be addressed through amendments to the existing policy.

The discussion paper focuses on 11 areas of the TAB grading policy including 5th grade qualification, preference orders, the point score system and the drawing of reserves.

The full discussion paper can be downloaded here:

Interested parties are now invited to provide submissions on the discussion paper, with responses to specifically address the items raised in the paper.

Submissions close on 23 November 2011 and can be made in writing to GRNSW's Racing & Department, PO Box 170, Concord West, 2138 or by emailing [email protected].

Following receipt of all submissions, the GRNSW Board will consider final recommendations for changes to the policy.
