Group 1 glory for Ethanol Water in Bold Trease Final

Ethanol Water showcased her staying brilliance to claim the Group 1 Bold Trease (715m) at Sandown Park on Saturday night, delivering a stunning performance for trainer Thomas Dailly and his team.
Overcoming a highly competitive field, the talented stayer surged to victory with a decisive three-length margin, clocking 41.67 seconds.
The race began with early speed from Topgun champion Canya All Class, who jumped quickly to take the lead, setting a strong tempo in the opening stages.
Ethanol Water, positioned ideally in second, kept within striking distance while Black Silencer and Canya Amy battled further back.
As the field approached the final turn, Ethanol Water powered past the leader, asserting her dominance and leaving her rivals unable to respond with the leading greyhound bookmakers paying $5 for the Group 1 victory.
Black Silencer claimed second, while early leader Canya All Class finished third.
