Group Two Gosford Gold Cup Preview

Tuesday night will see the running of the highly anticipated $40,000 Group Two Gosford Gold Cup, after four sensational heats were conducted last Tuesday evening, with the winners being: Pantone Green (29.81), Magic Display (29.99), Awesome Project (29.62) and Billy Buzzard and My Signature finished in a dead-heat recording 29.75.

Despite Awesome Project securing time honours for the heats, much of the talk amongst trainers has surrounded reigning Group Two Black Top winner Billy Buzzard, who is a notable speedster when the lids fly, and My Signature who stormed home last week to almost clinch victory in a smart time.

Anthony Azzopardi will attempt to win his second consecutive Gosford Gold Cup with Hurricane Rino, after taking out the event last year with Free Will, who was ultra-impressive in a flying time of 29.59.

A terrific supporting program will accompany the big race on Tuesday night with a $7,000 consolation for those greyhounds who missed out on a final spot, along with the Middle Distance Championship over 600m, with connections to receive $5,000 for their efforts.

The Gosford Gold Cup will be run and won at 9.18pm (EDST).

The reality is that her articles have mistakes in them. That’s not my problem, but hers. I appreciate the language may difficult for some, certainly your reply suggests that, but I would expect that a “senior” writer would know the difference between his and he’s.
