Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) has unveiled plans for an upcoming National Police Check (NPC) audit for every enrolled grownup registered in Victoria.

After consulting with the GRV Industry Consultative Group (ICG), a participant representative committee, the GRV Board has approved the audit.

The Victorian Office of the Racing Integrity Commissioner (ORIC) and the Victorian Racing Integrity Board (VRIB) have also been notified of the proposed police check audit.

Under the proposed audit plans, every adult registered participant in Victoria will be required to provide an up-to-date NPC prior to December 1, 2024.

The audit will start on October 1, 2024, and is scheduled to start with an email being sent to all enrolled participants.

The email will include guidelines on how to acquire a current NPC via a specific purpose website link.
