Mobile Legend brilliant in Group 2 Traralgon Cup Final

Victorian sprinter Mobile Legend is quickly gaining a reputation as a force to be reckoned with down south, after taking out the G2 Cup final on Thursday evening over the 450m, just two weeks after his stunning victory in the G2 Cup.

Sent out as third favourite by top bookmakers at odds of $4.80, the son of and Weeping Lass had to overcome another difficult draw from the middle alley, however after a smart getaway at box rise, Revolution from box four challenged him for the lead approaching the home turn, however the 36.5kg heavyweight proved too strong at the finish to score by 1.25 lengths in a time of 24.50. The trained runner-up lost no admirers with a gutsy effort behind the winner, with consistent performer River Rough for a further 3.75 lengths away in third.

Pre-race favourite Mr. Audacious found early trouble and unfortunately finished at the tail of the field.

Twin brothers being Mobile Legend's trainer Daryl Brennan and owner certainly have plenty to look forward to with the progress of their chaser who turned three last month and now has 17 career wins from just 35 starts, including saluting in his past four outings.
