NSW greyhound meetings moved, Wentworth Park extra meetings & grading changes
GRNSW have released a number of changes to the racing calendar most to accomodate the shutdown of racing at Tamworth and Armidale, plus extra meetings for Wentworth Park; and a grading change to suit the short coursers.
Tamworth & Armidale meetings moved
- The dog meeting scheduled for Tamworth on Saturday 8th December will be moved to Moree and run as a “C” graded meeting.
- The meeting scheduled for Armidale on Saturday 15th December is now to be run at Muswellbrook on Sunday 16th December with standard prizemoney.
Grading policy changes for Wentworth Park nominations/h2>
- The previous clause which stated that a greyhound had to have won at least one race greater than 400m to be eligible to be nominated for Wentworth Park has been removed.
Non TAB meeting scratching to GRNSW only
- All scratching's for non-TAB meetings after Saturday 8th December need to be directed to the GRNSW scratching phone line: 1300 797 538. Local greyhound race clubs will no longer take scratchings.
Two “C” meetings planned for Wentworth park in January 2019
- Two additional meetings have been scheduled for Wentworth Park for the 4th & 11th January 2019 with both to be run at ‘C' prizemoney levels.
- All scratching's for non-TAB meetings after Saturday 8th December need to be directed to the GRNSW scratching phone line: 1300 797 538. Local greyhound race clubs will no longer take scratchings.
