NSW Trainers Side Step NZ Platinum Paws Series
Following on from the poor nominations from Victorian trainers for New Zealands Platinum Paws Series, New South Wales has attracted just three nominations.
Under the Platinum Paws concept, NSW was to have supplied two seeded representatives to the Platinum Paws Series Semi Finals to be held in Christchurch, NZ on October 10th 2008.
NSW was to have run two heats at Wentworth Park this coming Saturday 13 September with the winner of each of the heats seeded directly into the semi finals of the Platinum Paws, but despite a late call for nominations, they failed to attract enough runners to comprise even one race.
The three greyhounds nominated for the Platinum Paws Series from NSW are :
- Comfortably Numb
- Beverage
- Coriakin Star
As was the case with the Victorian representatives, NSW GHRRA graders will now decide who secures the two seeded spots allocated for NSW greyhounds to run in the Platinum Paws Series Semi Finals.
