On Coin Gets The Cash In Cannington Young Star Classic
Brilliant Western Australia chaser On Coin didn't disappoint in last night's Group Three Young Star Classic at Cannington, blowing his rivals away in a stunning 30.10 performance over the 530m, setting a new race record.
After beginning fast from box two, the son of Primo Uno and West On Lee, railed under early leader Te Amo, to streak away on the home bend by 11 lengths for trainer John Crossley.
On Coin collected a cool $25,000 for his efforts, taking his prizemoney total to an impressive $128, 940.
Last night's victory was win number 18 for the brindle flyer from just 38 starts including 14 placings.
Seemingly, this is just the beginning of the emergence of another superstar of Western Australian racing.
