Paws Of Thunder Champion Iona Seven Suffers Nasty Fall
Group One Paws Of Thunder winner Iona Seven has suffered a heavy fall in the third heat of the Perth Cup.
The Robert Britton trained bitch was crossing to find the front from box seven, but was tightened by Liara Allen driving up on her inside and Saving Bundles applying pressure on her outside.
She didn’t follow the field into the pen and was being attended to.
We have been informed that the early prognosis is a cracked shoulder. The area is very swollen and they aren’t 100% yet what damage has been done.
Hope the bitch is ok. Was an awkward looking fall!
