Queenslander Flash Reality Books A Spot In National Sprint Championships Final

Flash Reality (1) did not need to rely on a wild card to make the final of the National Sprint Championships after he took out the Queensland leg of the series in fine style.

The and (Bond – Sweet Elite) dog will be seeking to conquer all at and bring the trophy back to Queensland. Queensland's last Nationals winner was Metz Magic in 2011. Other Queenslander's to have taken out the title include Dashing Corsair (2009), (2008), Elite State (2003), (1995), Dancing Gamble (1988) and Madonna Lee (1982).

The trained Flash Reality went to the boxes as the short-priced $1.20 favourite and he didn't disappoint. Beginning well from box one, he swept to the lead before the first turn and strode away to a six and three quarter length win in 29.86. Cyndie's Special (6) did all the chasing but no one was going to get Flash Reality once he hit the front. Gumlow Star (3) rounded out the placings. Fastest heat winner Give You Credit (7) didn't step well from the boxes and his chances ended there.

Flash Reality has now won 11 from 17 and is a deserved representative for Queensland as he has won both the One and the Group Two at this year.
