Rocket Riot salutes at short odds again at Gosford

Rocket Riot
made it eight wins from 10 starts with another strong display at on Tuesday night.

Rocket Riot stepped out for his first look at the 515m trip at Gosford on Tuesday night and served up another massive performance.

The -trained chaser was sent out as a clear favourite in the mixed-grade race, paying $1.90 with the top greyhound betting sites.

Jumping from box seven, he punched out to the lead and ran on to beat the -trained pair of Miss Zipper ($10) and Downtown Zipper ($4.40) by one and a half lengths in a time of 29.54.

Last time out on July 17, Rocket Riot won by two and a half lengths over the shorter 320m trip at Richmond.

He is armed with a massive engine that has delivered a 21.84 over the Gosford 388m and a flying 29.63 at the 520m.

Rocket Riot's career started on February 21 this year with a dominant win by six and a half lengths on debut at Richmond over the 324m.

He backed it up a week later, winning at the 340m journey by a quarter of a length.

The x dog has jumped at $2 or shorter odds in nine of 10 career starts, winning eight times for a total of $17,330 in prize money.

Online bookmakers have Rocket Riot pegged at $26 odds in all-in markets for the Chase on October 13.
