Fastest qualifier for this Sunday’s Group 3 final was the Queensland trained Bogie King for Ryan Ayre who flew around the Gawler circuit in a fast 30.41 (.18 outside the track record) for the 531m journey. Ryan also qualified Bogie Magic for Sunday’s event.
Two other trainers qualified multiple greyhounds for the final with Ray Murray preparing Aston Thomas & Kalden Komoto and Petar Jovanovic with Cousin Callum & Picaboon.
Mad Monza for George Cooper surprised with his victory in heat 7 paying over $32.00 on TattsBet and defending champion Kalden Mayhem for Troy Murray stamped his claim for back to back victories after another barnstorming finish rattling home in a slick 30.57.
Fastest second placegetters Time For Fun (30.64) and Premier Bill (30.66) were declared reserves.
