She may weigh in at just 20.2kg, but Western Australian chaser Tiny And Mighty has gained a legion of fans following her maiden victory at Cannington on Monday over the 275m.

Jumping from box 6, the daughter of and Elleni Banner quickly got to second and showed a great turn of foot down the home straight to switch off heels and score by three quarters of a length in 16.77.

According to breeder Brandon Magistro, it was a special victory for the pint-sized pocket rocket.

“She's nothing special but it was great to see her go so well as she was obviously the runt of the litter,” he said.

“It's not everyday you see a 19/20kg greyhound win a race so we're really proud of her.”

The red brindle chaser was one of five bitches and three dogs born in the litter whelped July 15, 2020.

Her older brother has also sent tongues wagging, having won three of his first four starts for Kim Mulrine, including back-to-back victories at in respectable time.

Elleni Banner is a renowned producer, with her first litter to Dyna Double One including Lilly Banner, a winner of 21 races including the 2020 G1 final; , a winner of 17 races; Klemmer Banner, a winner of 24 races; and Bundai Banner, a winner of 19 races.

She's currently in-pup to boom sire .

Other notable featherweight chasers include 's , who at 27kg is often mistaken for a bitch and has won 14 of 20 starts, including a 29.21 and 29.62 personal best times at and Wentworth Park respectively.
