Vintage Win In Dawson Park Sprint Final

Orange greyhound Awesome Vintage came home with a wet sail to overhaul tearaway leader in the shadows of the post and take out the $600 Dawson Park Sprint Final (400m) on Saturday.

Denise Sparkes wrapped up proceedings with an effortless win by ($2.00 equal favourite) in the Free Choice West Dubbo Stakes (516m) who led from barrier to box in the last. Short priced equal favourite Mostly Hot lost all hope at the first turn when forced wide.

The Dubbo club now go into a brief recess and resume racing on Saturday, October 18.
