Wentworth Park Greyhound Meeting Combined With Richmond To Make Fields
Greyhound Racing NSW has combined the Wentworth Park and Richmond meetings scheduled for Saturday 1 December 2012.
The combined meeting will be held at Wentworth Park on Saturday 1 December 2012 for metropolitan prizemoney.
The Richmond meeting scheduled for the same day has been abandoned.
The running of the combined meeting will ensure participants do not miss out on earning prizemoney.
Nine races will be run at Wentworth Park, including two heats of the Group 3 Schweppes Summer Cup (720m).
The meeting scheduled at Unibet Gardens on Saturday 1 December 2012 will also go ahead with eight races.
In announcing the combined meeting at Wentworth Park, GRNSW would like to reiterate that it supports the need to reform the Inter-Code funding arrangement.
However, GRNSW believes the proposed “no show” that some participants are taking part in will do nothing to amend the current Inter-Code and will only hurt participants’ income. It will have little to no impact on NSW Government revenues, TAB revenues and those of the other racing codes.
GRNSW would like to thank all participants who nominated for Saturday’s TAB meetings and hope more follow their example in the coming fortnight.
