World’s Only Female Racecaller To Call For Greyhound Racing SA’S Tattsbet.com Adelaide Cup
The world's only professional female racecaller will be part of Greyhound Racing South Australia's TattsBet.com Adelaide Cup on 20 January.
Hailing from Ireland, Sarina O'Day will be a special racecaller and ambassador on the day.
The TattsBet.com Adelaide Cup is the biggest event on South Australia's greyhound racing calendar and the culmination of GRSA's Summer Chasing Carnival.
CEO Matt Corby said Greyhound Racing SA was looking forward to having Sarina at Angle Park.
“She has a unique position in the world of commentating and will add to the excitement of the night,”Mr Corby said.
The daughter of a greyhound trainer, Sarina started work part-time at age 13 walking the dogs out on parade for the racing at Cork Greyhound Stadium. Her career in race commentating began in 2000.
The TattsBet.com Adelaide Cup will be held on Thursday 20 January at Angle Park.
