Sandown Park greyhounds form, tips & betting preview May 21, 2015
AN excellent night of greyhound racing awaits at Sandown Park tonight, featuring the final of the world’s richest staying event, the Group 1 Sandown Cup, which appears to be at the mercy of Robert Britton’s Space Star, currently the $1.22 favourite with William Hill.
Also on the card is the Group 3 Bill Collins Memorial which consists of a field as good as any Group race you could imagine. Six Group winners will line up in the feature including dual Group 1 winner Dyna Villa and country cup king Luca Neveelk. However, all eyes will be on champion sprinter Fernando Bale, going for his tenth straight win and possibly the track record when he exits the cherry.
