Cleopatra Hayze qualified for the QGOLD Rookies Final and was a big drifter in betting when running fourth from an inside alley. Prior to this, the daughter of Orson Allen won in 30.19 over track and trip from box six. She appears to enjoy space on the track, and she’ll get that from box eight on Thursday night. Garrison, drawn directly underneath, has good box speed and wants to find the rail heading into the first turn, so Cleopatra Hayze should get the perfect cart into the race.

Just four starts ago he was an impressive three-length winner out of box eight over this track and trip. The small field plays into this rising star’s hands, and this is the weakest best eight in recent memory.

Copacetic was heavily supported in betting on debut over this track and trip, where he started slowly and copped some interference that dashed his hopes. He’s drawn well in box one and maps to get all favours with the likes of Blue Steel and I’m Sandwiches set to use the track. Churchill Hayze is the biggest threat; however, the prices online bookmakers are giving us for Copacetic are too good to ignore.
