Group 1 racing returns to Wentworth Park this Saturday night with the heats of the Paul Wheeler Simply The Best series set for Saturday, Decmeber 14.

Sammy Ethan, who clocked a stunning 29.41 two starts ago, remains the one to beat from Box 4. Zipping Chaplin, fresh off a 29.52 victory, looms as a major threat despite a tricky box 5, while Omega Travis is well-positioned in Box 2 with a solid track record and early speed. Sammy Ethan will gain a massive advantage of the vacant box inside and looks to be too good with the $2.20 on offer with the top greyhound bookmakers.

Sooty Keeping (8), with her early pace and a 29.40 win to her credit, poses a significant challenge if she can navigate the wide draw. Boston Banner (3) and My Pharaoh (4) add depth to the field, both boasting solid track records and the capability to capitalise if the race tempo suits. Ayden’s Warrior’s is the tip at $3.60 at Neds.

He draws ok in box six, as there will be a vacant box under him, and he should have no trouble leading and smashing the clock yet again. Might be a short price at $1.75 but is perfect as an anchor for any multis or quaddies you might like at BlondeBet.

With his proven track speed and favourable draw, Paw Oswald has the edge to claim at value.

He will appreciate the massive drop in class, back to this fifth-grade race, and while he can find trouble in his races, this race looks ideal for him to show everyone his true ability.

She has a nippy personal best of 41.78 and is the only dog in the race to have broken the 42sec mark. From this draw, she should lead early and give them something to chase for the whole 720m journey.
