Reigning Sandgroper winner Hector Fawley poised for racing return

Australian greyhound sensation Hector Fawley is gearing up for a comeback on the racing scene following a hiatus.
The talented three-year-old has been sidelined since June due to an inflammation concern, with co-trainer Ian Cockerell suspecting it might have been caused by a spider bite, causing him to be scratched from the Group 2 Cyndies Magic Final.
Initially, Cockerell thought it was his metacarpal causing trouble, but it seemed likely to be a spider bite; however, after two rounds of x-rays, no concrete findings emerged.
Sandgroper Race Replay – Hector Fawley (29.42)
Hector Fawley has impressively clocked ’34’ at Sandown Park on five occasions.
Holds the title as the third fastest runner ever over 595m (33.643), trailing only track record holder Collinda Patty (33.562) and Dyna Double One (33.630).
Notably, he also boasts the back split record at 22.77, ahead of Collinda Patty (22.81), Dyna Patty (22.84), and Dyna Double One (22.85).
While the reigning Sandgroper winner is anticipated to make his racing return this year, there’s already a surge in demand for his stud services.
