Wentworth Park greyhound tips 6/7/24: Peter Mosman & Vic Peters finals night

Two Group 1 finals headline Saturday’s greyhound racing action at Wentworth Park, with the Peter Mosman Opal and Vic Peters Classic both to be decided. There will be another eight supporting races, with the first beginning at 7:08pm local time. Australian Racing Greyhound has gone through the card and picked out the best bets for the night, including picks in the two big races.
Peter Mosman Opal Tip: Out Of Style
Out Of Style showed her brilliance in the Peter Mosman Opal heats, sitting outside the flying Blazing Raso before powering past her to win nicely. She looks better drawn in the final and will sit directly behind Flying Raso again and should get a dream run through the first turn. Tulsi Banner looks the danger if Blazing Raso can’t hold the early lead.

Vic Peters Classic Tip: Ferness
In race that is stacked with quality, Ferness gets the nod due to a nice draw. He should be able to cross the two dogs on his inside, and he has the pace to hold off the outside brigade going into the first turn. He has a great record at Wentworth Park and a flying 29.46 personal best but will need to do everything right against this red-hot Vic Peters Classic field.

Race 8 –
Ferness (3)

Best Bet at Wentworth Park: Great Flash
Great Flash drops from a non-graded race against the likes of Ned Al Sheba and Nangar Larry into fifth grade, which will suit him tremendously. He likes a bit of room around him, and in a race devoid of early pace he could well find himself in front or very close to it. He has a flying 29.54 personal best and always needs a touch of luck, but if he gets the right breaks, he will destroy these.

Best Value at Wentworth Park: Leg Speed
Leg Speed is another dropping back sharply from non-graded company to fifth grade. He always needs a touch of luck in his races, as he is a moderate beginner and loves to hug the rails. He has his best winning percentage from this box, and if he just gets a clear crack at them, Leg Speed can salute at a very nice price with the top greyhound betting sites.
