Maxine Dutton set the Casino 300m track alight on Thursday, February 13, breaking the short-standing track record with a scintillating run of 16.39 seconds.

The Donald Watts-trained flyer produced a dazzling display of speed, leading from the jump and never looking back at $4 odds with the top greyhound bookmakers.

The previous record of 16.41, held by Snake and Ladder, was eclipsed as Maxine Dutton stopped the clock with an emphatic new benchmark.

Jumping cleanly from the boxes, the brindle bitch clocked a blistering 2.43 first sectional before powering home in 13.96.
