Greyhound Betting Tips For Thursday 19th September 2013
Big night of racing ahead with the final of the eagerly anticipated SA Derby. It's a cracking field and most of the runners can win. I personally think Tonk will be hardest to beat. He's a extremely good young dog and box 2 runner Ernie Bung Arrow will make the race for him. Not matter who wins it's going to be a cracking race, and one all dog fans should see.
Albion Park Greyhounds Race 3 Box 2 Atta Boy Ted 7.22pm
I'm thinking this fellow is ready to win one and tonight's race presents a fantastic opportunity for him. Box 1 runner Sanrico Jasper should fly the lids and lead. Miners Moss will be carving down from the outside. Atta Bot Ted, as long as he jumps, will get a saloon passage up on the rail, and he may find himself 3 or 4th early on this race. He's got a good record here, a PB of 30.28 and a race record of 6 starts for 1 win and 3 placings. With a little trouble out wide, and lets face it very rarely is a race without trouble, this fellow may sneak up along the inside and put himself within striking distance. Big chance at odds!
Angle Park Greyhounds Race 8 Box 2 Tonk 9.42pm
Clash of the Titans here with the SA Derby. I'm going with Tonk and I'll be backing him on fixed price early. Speed Demon Ernie Bung Arrow, will lead here and he should give Tonk the absolute run of the race. He'll ping the lids and he does drift 1 or 2 off the fence and Tonk should be able to rail strongly on from behind and show his mid race burn. There's going to be a few very good dogs carving down from the outside and that will no doubt cause trouble. Boxes win races and Tonk has the perfect draw here tonight. Ernie gets very tired in the run to the line, an Tonk will need to stay within 4 lengths of him. I think he can and I'd be jumping all over the fixed odds here tonight offered by one of our many sponsors Ladbrokes, Sportingbet, Bet365 and Luxbet.
Dapto Greyhounds Race 6 Box 4 Suits Us 9.14pm
I really like the chance of Suits Us in this. I know the odds won't be there but he's easily the best credentialed dog in this race and he looked really solid when running third here last week. He's broken 35.00 in his last two starts here and this is a far easier task then his past couple. All he needs is a clear run and racing luck and he should have no trouble running over the top of these here in this. Box 3 runner You Name Me may be the danger if she pings and they find trouble behind.
Hobart Greyhounds Race 11 Box 2 Chicka Scott 10.46pm
We are going to have to wait till the last of the night here to hopefully back a winner at Hobart. Chicka Scott has panels on this lot and with a good jump and clear passage he should just race right away from them here in this. One out he'd flog these and he's easily capable of breaking 25.90 here. But while his form is sound he's definitely racing below his best. He looks the winner and should win this but you must find value in backing him. I wouldn't go taking less then $3.00 here about an fast dog who is very moody.
Sandown Greyhounds Race 5 Box 2 Anathema 8.28pm
I reckon this girl can pinch this here on the bunny. She's got terrific early toe and burns hard when she finds the top. Last start here she run an absolute blinder in behind Schroder Bale, and I see no reason why she can't repeat that same performance here tonight. There's a few good dogs engaged in this but the main dangers aren't boxed well and this will certainly aid the chances of Anathema winning race number 2 here in 9 starts. Xenos Bale can win this but he's out of form and struggling. He'll turn it around soon so don't leave him out of multiples.
