2022 Group 1 Topgun Sprint and Stayers invitations named
The Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association (MGRA) has yesterday named the invitations for its premier Group 1 invitation-only races The Topgun Sprint (525m) and The Topgun Stayers (730m).
Both races are scheduled to be run on Saturday November 5 2022.
The Group 1 Topgun Sprint will carry first place prizemoney of $150,000m while the Topgun Stayers will pay $75,000 for first.
2022 will be the first year the Topgun Stayers will be officially run over the 730m after the track's long standing distance errors were discovered.
Connections of greyhounds invited have until Thursday October 20 2022 to lodge nominations with Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV).
