IS there anything better than a Friday night?
The work week is over, the beers are out of the fridge and you can kick your heels up and relax in style.
If you’re going to herald the coming weekend with a flutter on the dogs, we have all the info you need for your greyhound Friday.
Our main man Brad Bugeja runs his eye over the best bets of the night:
Wentworth Park Race 8: Bass Louder
Explosive beginner who has scored some brilliant Bathurst wins in recent weeks and two starts back he was narrowly beaten here in sizzling time. From the red draw he should be able to find the top early and I would expect him to break away mid race. He will be around the $1.90 mark and it might be worth putting him in your weekends multis.
Geelong Race 12: Skip’s Nightmare
He has been racing in much stronger company of late and he tends to race very well around this circuit. He finds himself in a race which lacks genuine early speed so if he can step cleanly he should be able to drive to the early lead and then prove too strong for his rivals. If you can get around the $3.50 that is great value.
Strathalbyn Race 10: Uno Oscar
Likely to be around the $10 mark and with his early speed he is more than capable of firing to the early lead and winning. The wide draw suits and this isn’t an overly strong race, at the odds he is definitely worth an each way ticket.
Ipswich Race 6: 3 to rove with 1,2,7
Rosdue Dynamo has been racing in explosive form in recent weeks and she should be winning based on her ridiculous 30.33 win here last time. She will be short but she is the anchor in the quinella.
Spring Candy and Ultimate Star have the speed to settle on the pace and they should be thereabouts at the end, whilst Reality Ghost will hit the line solidly and she could add value to the quinella
Bendigo Race 4: 1/2,6,7/Field ($18 for 100%)
Leg 1: 1,2,5,6
Leg 2: 1,3,8
Leg 3: 1,2,6,7,8
Leg 4: 1,3
$120 for 100%
