Apache Bro completes remarkable comeback

Apache Bro stormed home to win race 7 at after getting shuffled back at the start.

EVERYONE loves a good comeback and Christian Redenbach's Apache Bro delivered a barnstorming performance for his backers on Tuesday at Geelong.

Lining up in the seventh event on the card Apache Bro jumped as a narrow $3.10 favourite at online bookmaker Neds despite a disappointing resuming run on February 19.

Jumping from box one, the son of My Boy Fabio speared out to an early lead before getting checked back through the field, dropping back at least ten lengths behind the leader and second favourite Snow Osti.

Backers could have been forgiven for screwing up their tickets then and there but wasn't done with just yet.

Gaining as the field entered the straight the majority of the field shifted wide while Apache Bro snuck along the rail, all the while picking up speed with every stride.

The red rug nabbed them in the shadows of the post to what could be the most spectacular .
