Incident Information

The Redesdale Coliban Park Road Fire has been contained, and DSE and CFA tanker crews are working to black out hot spots along and inside the perimeter of the fire.

Those hot spots include trees, branches and logs that are still burning, and areas of vegetation that may still contain smouldering material.

While the fire does not present any significant threat to homes in the area, residents are advised to be aware that there is still fire activity inside its perimeter. Tanker crews will be patrolling the area overnight and for the next few days.

Core Advice
There may be increased amounts of smoke in the area from this fire.
Road use in the area may still be hazardous. Watch out for fallen trees, power lines, abandoned cars, wildlife and emergency services vehicles.
Residents should expect that many branches may fall from nearby trees in the next few days, and should be vigilant to protect themselves from injury.
