Bannerman Caps Off A Purple Patch At Canberra

In the 440 metre heats it was High Fees for and March Maiden for Ken Staines so go through as best qualifiers in the Valley Tavern series.

In her first crack at the distance March Maiden notched up her second win in a row in the smart 25.66.

The final two events on the card saw Jodie Gilbert's and Alan Tutt's Jenmar Goddess take home the chocolates in 18.20 and 18.05 runs respectively.
