Albion Park is set to host a 10-race program on Thursday night from 6:40PM local time. The meeting is headlined by a cracking fifth-grade final over the 600m featuring the likes of potential superstar Icy Eyes and in-form runner Bogie Hurricane. Also on the card are four fifth-grade heats over 520m. Finish in the first two and grab your ticket to next Thursday's final.
Race 1: Pringle Tiger (1)
Pringle Tiger has made a big impression early in his career and appears to be a star of the future. The son of Bago Bye Bye burst onto the scene at Ipswich, recording a 14-length win running just a tick outside the best of the night. He followed this the following week with a gallant second in the maiden final behind Pursuer. Since then, his next two runs have come at Albion Park, where he has drawn wide on both occasions and failed to land anywhere near the arm. He gets his first taste of a low draw here at start number five and appears destined to run sub-30 seconds if he can get on the arm. One to follow through the grades and up to 600m.

Race 3: Double Up Bill (5)
Double Up Bill is racing in fine form and will be hunting for another win on Thursday night. The son of Dyna Double One has won three of his past five races and put in a career-best effort last start when finishing second to Hostile Assassin and running 29.85. He finds a similar field this week, minus the winner, and bumps into Little Critter, whom he beat by three lengths last start. Expect box four to ping and bring Bill into the race. From there, he will show his dazzling turn of speed and put this race to bed down the back.

Race 6: Amendola (2)
Amendola arrives back at the 520m on the fresh side and can run a cheeky race against the hot favourite. Prior to her small break, she had been mixing her distances over the 600m and 710m. She was racing well without winning and did bump into group-one Sydney Cup finalist Valpolicella in her last three starts. The son of Maurice Minor has good track and distance stats (11:3–1-3) and a sharp personal best of 29.91. Bat Sign is a deserving bookmaker favourite; however, he is rock bottom odds, and Amendola appears to be a touch of value.
