is set to host 12 star studded races on Thursday night from 6:49PM local time. The meeting is headlined by the “Garrard's Super Stayers Invitational Final” set to be run over the 710m where winning connections will walk away with $75,000. Also, there's three brilliant Brisbane Cup Preludes where big guns, , Rejuvenate and will have their first and final tune up before next week's $1 Brisbane Cup.

BEST BET: Blue Hornet (Race 7)

Cracking edition of the BRGC Chairman's Cup final with the current favourite, Blue Hornet appearing one of the better bets on the program. The son of has recently made his long awaited debut at the staying trip. He has dazzled at both Albion Park and Ipswich over the shorter trips and could not have been more impressive since stepping up to the 710m. Last fortnight, he had his first start when running third to in free-for-all company. Last week, he was able to run second to who will go around a short priced favourite in the following feature race. He was able to improve five lengths last week and now jumping into box one where he is unbeaten in three starts, expect him to improve once again on the way to a breathtaking victory.

NEXT BEST: Palawa King (Race 8)

The feature race on the night is the Super Stayers Invitational final and Palawa King looks set to walk away with the $75,000 grand prize for winning connections. The two-year-old has called Queensland home in June and has been able to win two races from three attempts. Last week he stepped up to the 710m where he came from last to defeat the very talented Blue Hornet who looks hard to beat in an earlier event. He was able to run a slick 41.73 coming home in a fast 13.28. He will be best suited to this race concept with only three dogs to pass if he does in fact settle last. He does map well with and First Picked, likely to cross Days Of Thunder. Expect the son of to find a lovely trailing position in third place. Expect him to take over down the back approaching the 600m boxes and to come home with a wet sail.

Best Bet

Race 8 – SilkPalawa King (5)

NEXT BEST: Rejuvenate (Race 4)

Rejuvenate will be out to make a statement tonight in his final tune up before a dash at the group 1 Brisbane Cup. The two-year-old son of boom young sire, Hooked On Scotch has scorched at almost every track in his home state of Victoria having won 18 of his 24 starts to date. He is already a group 3 winner and was a finalist in the 2022 group 1 Silver Chief when finishing behind kennelmate, Amron Boy. This is the first time he has left the state of Victoria; however, given his terrific results across many tracks it should not be something to worry about. He has had four starts from box three resulting in a win and two placings. He appears to be drawn ideally with Bat Sign inside him who has shown a tendency to shift left. The main market rival, is also having his first crack at the Albion Park circuit and is drawn awfully in the red. He will look to get off the track and with the expected buffering, Rejuvenate can accelerate straight to the top and find a winning position.

Best Bet

Race 4 – SilkRejuvenate (3)

Form: 121512 | Career: 24: 18-4-0 | Trainer: Brooke Ennis
