Rockhampton greyhound preview and betting tips – Wednesday, 11/10
Rockhampton is set to host a 12-race program on Wednesday night from 6:55PM local time. The meeting is headlined by the “Rocky Feed and Seed ” fifth-grade final over the 407m featuring the likes of promising youngsters, Grande Bahama and Educator.
Race 3: McIlroy (8)
McIlroy appears perfectly boxed to record his second career win. The lightly raced son of Barcia Bale has faced the starter on five occasions, chalking up one win and one placing. His lone win came over track and trip when taking out a similar-style race to the one that he faces on Wednesday night by seven lengths. He has shown a liking for using the track a touch heading into the first turn, which makes box eight ideal. Likewise, McIlroy has found a race with plenty of speed where the likes of Kajal Rani, Moonlit Mandy, and Yogi's Menace should break up the field. Expect McIlroy to hang wide and come with a well-timed burst.

Race 2: Gilded (5)
Local trainer Neville Jackson has his charge Gilded racing well, and she can claim her second win on Wednesday night. The daughter of Tommy Shelby has finished in the top three at her past four starts, including a strong win just three weeks ago in a slick 23.83 for maiden grade. Last start, she was shuffled back through the field and ran home gallantly behind Too Much Scotch. She has since had a fortnight between runs and appears hard to beat fresh. With two speed dogs drawn inside her, she should be provided with the perfect cart into the race to come hard over the top late.

Race 12: Misunderstood (1)
Misunderstood made a great return to racing last start after having a short three-week let-off. The Peta Boon-trained runner jumped well from box five and was able to take up a stalking role behind the eventual winner, Lucius Malfoy. Fitness got the better of Misunderstood late in the piece as she peaked at her effort. Admittedly, she probably won't be as fresh to fly the lids as she did last start; however, she will be more screwed down to chase through the line strongly. Deserves to win one of these master events.
