Unaffordable continues to improve with more racing and he finds himself in a very suitable event tonight. In recent weeks he has scored two strong and commanding victories here and he only needs an ounce of luck to score again. There are quite a few front runners in this event and most are suspect at the journey, if he can settle midfield he should be able to run over the top of them late.

Crazy Sexy is a little risky at box rise but when she steps she can show explosive speed. She was recently placed in the Group 2 Memorial final and if she handles the track tonight she will prove very hard to reel in.

Reginald Benz comes to town after two dazzling wins at Lismore and Ipswich, he showed mid race pace in those events and my only query with him is the last 50m tonight.

Cheeky Freyer doesn't win very often but she does have quite a bit of talent, she will likely settle mid field but she will hit the line strongly and she has been racing against some quality opposition of late.

Heidi Benz is a faultless beginner and she showed explosive early dash when winning at Ipswich two runs back in a solid 30.83. She didn't have much luck in her last run here as she was crowded soon after box rise, I'm expecting her to jump and run tonight so she should avoid any bother in the first 50m. Her last 50m can sometimes be a worry but this event isn't overly strong so if she leads them up it should be the end of the section.

Smashniak Gold really caught the eye when posting a slick 30.13 win here at his second race start, he went through the first marker in a zippy 5.65 and if he repeats that he will be right in the mix.

La Lucciola is another who can show good early dash and she must be kept safe at odds, she probably can't hang on for the win but she will be nice odds and she could be a value place bet.

Stark Warning rounds out the chances, he has been placed in his four starts to date and he appears to be getting better and stronger with every outing.

Indiana Rumble is a lid pinger and she has enjoyed a good stretch of form in recent weeks, two starts back she sizzled early when scoring at Ipswich in a more than handy 30.64 and if she pings away again tonight she should roll to the early lead and I dont think they will catch her. This is a little rise in class for her but she seems to do everything right and at around the $2.80 mark she appears to be a nice bet.

Pictures Pearce is in good hands and he has a heap of talent, however he is not very reliable. From the red tonight he should be able to settle in the top three and he has showed in his career to date that he is capable of good things when he is given clear running early.

No Callaratah can be a little hit or miss at box rise but he has won here previously in a smart 30.15 and on that occasion he went through the first marker in 5.67, if he can show similar speed tonight he could get the cash at nice odds.

Tough race but if Bon Yeo can somehow get a clear run he should go very close to winning. He returned to racing at Ipswich last week after six weeks off and he was hitting the line solidly over the 431m trip. He is much better suited to this journey tonight and from the rails draw he should be able to push through into a very prominent spot early, he has won five of 13 here over this distance and I think he will be too good for them.

Spring Charlie showed tremendous improvement when winning here last week in 30.14 and if he repeats that effort he will be right in the mix, he pinged the lids on that occasion and he hadn't done that for a while, so I'm a little worried that it may have been a once off.

Hope's Fantasy has a great record here and she is dropping considerably in class, she hasn't been beginning too well of late but she does possess a good turn of foot so she should be able to put herself into contention at the first bend.

Tweed Chic is the interesting runner, her form reads terrible but she does have a heap of talent when she is switched on.

Super Velo is a huge talent and after three runs from a spell he appears ready to show his best. He has won five races over this trip and they have all been in sub 30 seconds, from the pink draw he should get plenty of room to balance up early and I would then expect him to burn them off mid race. He has a fair bit on his rivals and he just needs an ounce of luck in the first 50m to get the cash.

Up The Attitude has a brilliant turn of speed after box rise and he should bring the pink across in the run to the first turn, I dont think he can hold the pink out overall but he has won here in 29.96 previously and he should give a great sight.

This Time Reba is in career best form and if she settles in the first half of the field she should run a place at worst, she can be a little slow to begin at times but she does muster very quickly and she is very strong in the run to the line.

Mal Rose Hi must also be included in your exotic bets, he is poorly drawn but he will hit the line hard and he could be a good anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.

8FABULOUS STORM313129.97Reg Hazelgrove

Bago Kysam has come up with the good draw again and with a clean getaway he should be able to lead throughout. He has very little speed drawn on his outside and in recent months he has prove hard to hold out when he balances up in the top three early. This is the weakest race he has contested for a while and he really does look to be a good bet.

Fabulous Storm showed great mid race dash in his strong win here last week and he did record his slick 29.97 PB here from this draw in January, he can be a little unreliable early but he should get all the breaks from the good draw.

Bradley Benz was placed behind Bago Kysam here two runs back and he has the speed to settle in the top two early, he isn't overly strong but he has a good record here and if he crosses the red early he will give them something to catch.

Cute To Boot is the run on type in the event, she has been racing well in recent weeks and she is a must for your exotics.

Mullaway returns to his favourite track and trip and he should get the cash at short odds. He has very little speed drawn on his outside and that should allow him to push through and hold them out in the run through the first bend. Two starts back he almost broke the long standing track record here and if he goes anywhere near that time again he will win comfortably.

Hougenie is well drawn out wide and she ran the hands off the clock when winning at Ipswich last time in 30.24, she has a fantastic record over this trip and if she can settle in the top two or three early she should be there at the end.

Sheridon is another who races well over this trip and he is perfectly placed in the wide draw, he was soundly beaten by Mullaway two runs back so he will have to lead clearly to turn the tables tonight.

Knave can be hard to follow but he has a heap of talent, if he can settle midfield without finding bother he has the ability to run home into a place.

Rose Of Galo returned to racing after a long layoff with a handy placing here last week and she should have derived a lot of benefit from that run. She didn't begin as well as she normally would but she managed to hit the line well and I think she can find plenty on last weeks run. There is a bit of speed underneath her but she should be able to burn the red off mid race.

Farmer's Gold has been in stellar form in recent months and he will be powering to the line tonight, he is better suited to a rails draw but he drops out early so the box draw shouldn't pose too many problems.

Dream River is always a chance in these types of races and if he can cross early he could just pinch the race, there is a fair bit of speed underneath but that might be an advantage as they may shuffle up underneath in the run to the first turn.

Grand Roman rounds out the chances, he returned to his best form two runs back when scoring here in a sizzling 29.92.

Apatite is drawn perfectly in the pink and if she handles the first bend she should take a power of beating. She has done all of her racing at Ipswich to date but she has scored some very fast wins around that circuit and she has displayed great early speed in those wins. There is the small query about her track experience but I'm assuming that would have trialled her here.

Don't Go Quietly doesn't win very often but he is never far away and he has a great record here. He is poorly drawn but he does muster speed very quickly and he should be able to put himself into contention as they head through the turn.

Blue I Am showed is normally known for his high speed, however last week he showed his strength when he powered home to score in 30.26, I'm expecting him to show a bit more early dash tonight and he should run a big race.

Hollywood Rose Hi is the only other winning hope, he has been racing well at Ipswich of late and if he can find the lure early he will give a great sight.

Tough race to finish the night but I think if can step away cleanly he should be able to make every post a winner. He hasn't featured in his four tries here previously but he appears well graded in this event and he has no speed at all drawn around him. His sectionals at Ipswich would have him leading clearly here and I can't see them reeling him in if he finds the early lead.

Spring Bonanza returned to the winners list with a top 30.87 Ipswich win and if she can step cleanly again tonight she will be right in the finish, she has been placed in three of four here and like Birthday Boy she is well graded in this event.

Houindeed is a strong type and if he can avoid bother mid race he should be running home into the placings, I dont think he has enough early dash to score but he could be a good anchor for second and third.

Farmor Eye Am is an on speed chaser and she should be in the mix for a long way, she really struggles over the last 40m but she could hang on for some minor money.
