Leg 1 – Wentworth Park – Race 8: Let It Develop To Win $2.25
Let It Develop is ideally placed in the pink draw and he looks well placed in this event. Last time out he was quick to begin and he was never really in doubt when scoring here in a slick 29.96, tonight he meets an inferior lineup and with a clean getaway he should get the same result. There is a little bit of speed drawn in the middle but im expecting them to bunch up underneath him and that should allow him to get the fly mid race.
Leg 2 – The Meadows – Race 10: Lektra Concord To Place $1.91
Lektra Concord is a highly talented speedster when on song and if he can step cleanly tonight he should be able to roll to the early lead and give a bold sight. Two starts back he was able to find the early lead and on that occasion he was able to beat a class lineup at Sandown Park in 29.48. He has to travel and extra 85m tonight but if he finds the lead he should have enough in the tank to hold on for a top three finish.
Leg 3 – Ipswich – Race 10: Norm The Storm To Win $1.90
Norm The Storm probably isnt ideally drawn out in the pink but he is absolutely flying at present and with an ounce of luck he should be scoring. In recent weeks he has been able to score back to back Albion Park wins and on both occasions he recorded a blistering 29.77, if he can turn in a similar effort tonight, that would see him score with considerable ease and the $1.90 appears to be great value for a chaser of his calibre.
