Greyhound Betting Tips For Thursday 26 September

Albion Park Greyhounds Race 2 Box 6 Surfin' Kawati, 7.02pm

This dog should just be winning this, he's posted a flying 29.74 here and even if these grew a 5th leg they wouldn't run that. It was always evident the dog had immense ability when he broke the run home record over 500 at as a pup. But, he hasn't scaled the heights he was destined for. He can begin and at times flies the lids and races right away. Other times he stays in the box and looks as if he refuses to go. Box 6 isn't ideal here tonight, but he just has panels on them. Punters aren't going to get big odds here about him, but he should be a better price than in recent times. He's not across the line in this but he looks far too strong and quick for a field of average dogs. Fixed price will be on offer, but I suggest taking the tote odds and I'm hoping $2.30 will be on offer. I know that's a short priced favourite, but in reality he should be 6s-on and I get the feeling overs can be achieved here tonight. Great anchor for multiples and an easy way to start the night.

Angle Park Greyhounds Race 5 Box 5 Victa Scott, 8.38pm

With the scratching of the two main players Victa Scott looks the clear cut winner here. He jumped well here last week and stuck on well against flying machine Cosmic Way. His time of 35.49 was solid and on the bunny he should lower that to around the 35.30 mark. He is easily fast enough to win this. Betsy Allen is the main danger and she can really hike when things go her way. She's out of form though and isn't a bitch who races well out of form. While Victa Scott has a good record of 3 starts for 2 placings, he did seem to struggle early on. But, he does seem to have adapted to the longer trip and he really looks primed to win this. Box 5 is no concern and as long as he jumps, he should have no trouble finding the front from the get-go and controlling the race. Looks the one and should win with ease.

Dapto Greyhounds Race 7 Box 1 Informer 9.38pm

The Charlie Gatt runner looks the one to be winning here over this 600m event tonight. Box 1 is a huge advantage on a corner start and Informer has some up with it. He's well-bred and I really like the way in which he won his last start at . He's been around here at enough times to have a love affair with the place, and having the track experience is certainly worth a few lengths. Boxes 3 and 7 look the main dangers but both will have to overcome slow beginnings. Princess Zara clearly has a motor, evident in her tough 30.89 Richmond win. But boxes win races, and Informer for the in-form Gatt kennel is my on top pick.

Hobart Greyhounds Race 7 Box 3 Fulande 9.25pm

This bitch is going great guns and clearly gets her chance to win one. She broke the tough 26.00 second barrier here last start, and was beaten in the process. Very rarely do the break that and get beaten. So, on that fact alone she should ping here and just be far too good for this field. With a record of 9 starts for 3 wins and 3 placings, she goes well here, and although the presence of a couple of good Victorians will make it much harder, she looks the one for mine. With the Victorians engaged I'm hoping her price increases and she is worth the punt. Should win, load up.

Sandown Greyhounds Race 1 Box 1 Cairnlea Layla 7.05pm

Robert Britton's kennel is flying, and this litter of 's is going super as well. She's got a great record, has won her in solid time and draws the perfect box. She has the speed to lead and should be finding the top from the moment the lids fly open. She rails well and ticks all the boxes when it comes to finding a winner. There's others that can win this, but why go looking for something to beat her when she ticks all the requirements of a winner. Favourite; but looks the winner.

Best of Luck
