Mixed results last night with a couple of chances going down. Our rough tip for the night In The Book went super running third, holding off Kiss Me Elvis, a 29.70 winner, to snatch third. And in the process he paid a mammoth $7.30 the place!! He’s certainly going to develop into a good dog, and make sure you keep following him.
Onto today and there’s always many meetings to choose from with plenty all around the country. We are going to do our best to find a few more.
Ipswich Greyhounds, Race 10 Box 6 Gee Ef Cee, 6.42pm
The son of Collision has been badly out of form of late but he has drawn the right race to see him return to winning form. Despite his recent form, and poor record, he does posses a fair amount of ability. Early on he was shaping as a nice young dog, but has since gone right off the boil. Box 6 won’t be too muck of an issue here for him, and I expect him to race really in this. He does have good early toe and he should get forward in this. Blue Oval looks the danger from his favorable box draw. Poor quality race, and Gee Ef Cee gets his chance here. Eachway.
Angle Park Greyhounds, Race 10 Box 8, 3.29pm
This bloke has been knocking on the door, and all around of late. He has the speed and ability but is a very moody type and must be taken on trust. Box 8 will suit as he should stay out of trouble out wide on the track. When he does get things right he can really fly. He needs to ping and get out in front, to show his best. But don’t take the shorts, he is too moody to do that.
Devonport Greyhounds, Race 1 Box 5 Shanlyn Poh, 1.02pm
The son of Big Daddy Cool steps up to the longer journey here and looks suited by the trip. He’s no certainty and will be a good odds. He needs to ping to show his best form, but he may get a nice drag across with Brumby Bomber. He’s been a solid performer over his career and has posted a fast 29.80 over 515 at Launceston. If he happens to ping he may bin up at big odds here.
Warragul Greyhounds, Race 7 Box 8 Oenjay Dancer. 8.50pm
Tough race with a few winning chances. Take The Weight will start favourite for Kel Greenough. She has posted a few flying times, and has run a slick 29.96 at the Meadows. She has plenty of early toe and only needs to begin to race well in this. If she can jump and hold them out mid race, I’d be surprised to see them go past her. She should be the value runner amongst a speedy field. Each way.
Best of luck.
