Greyhound Betting Tips For Wednesday 27th February 2013

We nearly managed to pull off the clean sweep yesterday with 4 winners and 2 place getters from the 6 selections. Salegrey's Power was our best result paying around the $5.00 mark.

Another big day ahead, with plenty of meetings throughout the country today. Racing from Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia, so we are going to have our work cut out to find a winner from each meeting. However it appears the big wet may have finally eased, so we wont have the horror of dealing with wet tracks when finding that elusive collect.

Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 6 Box 3 Give Me Beans 4.24 pm Qld time

Give me Beans, has been storming home of late, over the 500m trip, and looks set to make his presence felt in this today. He's a slow beginner, and a little awkward, and having to jump onto a corner will not help him at all. But if he is able to stay in touch with them early, and avoid getting spat right out the back, he will give this a massive shake. He has a big finish, and may drop out early, but look for him to be powering over the top of these late. Duchess Dora, looks the main danger, and if she can jump away well, and get around the first corner in front, she will take a power of beating. The extra trip will suit, but she is very moody and their is definitely two of Duchess Dora. Ragtop Mustang looks the only other winning chance. Shes been going terrific, but her record suggests she finds it tough to get across the line first. Tough race.

Angle Park Greyhounds, Race 6 box 5 Dyna Dania 2.26 pm Vic time

Dyna Dania, looks set to bring up win no.4 in this event today. She has tones of early speed, and with her best jump she should salute in this. With ordinary beginners around, she should have no trouble landing on the bunny. She needs to lead in her races, to show her best from and this is never more so evident than in her last 3 starts where she has failed to jump, and finished nearer to the rear then first each time. There is very little early pace in this race, and this looks a great chance, for her to regain some confidence. If she finds the front she just wins. There are many dangers to her, and if she fails to jump, it really is very open, and there looks to be many winning chances. Back her to win, or don't back her at all !

Richmond Greyhounds, Race 6 Box 1, Wild At Midnight 517 pm Nsw time

This bitch looks a great bet here at today, she has been going super and put in a fantastic run here 3 starts ago. It took a very smart dog to beat her, in Pumped Up Zarr, and there's none like him in this race today. She has come up with the red box in this, and this should see her jump really well and maybe land in front early. She's not the most reliable beginner, but if she happens to miss it, she has enough early speed to punch right up along the rails. She has a PB of 30.88 and although she has only won 1 from 10 here, I'm sure she can improve and on her PB and make it 2 from 11. Her main danger, Kentucky Grove, the son of a staying producer in Nikita Grove, won well here last start. I'm not sure about this bloke, his breeding suggest the more ground he races over the better, but he may be a little too green to challenge, Wild At Midnight, stepping up in grade here. Boxes win races, and she has hers today.

The Meadows Greyounds, Race 7 Box 3 Who Told Blackie 1.56 pm Vic time

Who Told Blackie, looks the winner in this event today. The son of ,has something his main danger (Jannik) has not; winning form on the track. He has already posted a reasonable 30.48 here, and i have no doubt he can go quicker. His from is a a little patchy, but he has the early speed to land in front in this. The 2 dog drawn on his inside is a very quick dog but is racing without zest and should pose no problem early, or in the ruin to Blackie. Who Told Blackie, needs his beat jump here, if he is too challenge Jannik early. Jannik, is a quality chaser winning 6 from 16 starts so far, but faces his toughest test yet stepping up to the longer trip. He's been well placed in his races leading up to this and these two dogs look set to fight this one out. I'm only going with Blackie, because he has winning form on the track to his credit. .

Ballarat Greyhounds, Race 6 box 8 Warm It Up 8.40 pm Vic time

The ex Queenslander, Warm It Up, looks a huge chance in this race tonight. He's been going super, since arriving in Victoria, and he has race tremendously well, and looks mighty hard to beat in this today. He took on a best 8 field last start, and went very well finishing hard down the middle of the track to grab 3rd. This is no best 8 field here tonight, and i give this bloke an enormous chance of winning this. He should have no issue with the outside box, and should stay out of the early trouble. He can run time, and strung a few nice wins together in Qld, while he was racing here a while ago. However there is a couple of smokeys in this, Scorsese and Abit Patchy; and they look like they will be very prominent and may pose as the dangers here to Warm It Up. But look for him to be working his way around the outside early and finishing hard down the middle. He's a big chance, to add another $500 to the Go the Pink Dog promotion.

Warrnambool Greyhounds, Race 12 Box 7 Quiz Bale 10.27pm Vic time

Quiz Bale was very disappointing, last start after coming back from a spell. She had all the favours with box 1 and slow beginners around her. She was slow to begin, and battled on for second, but lacked the early zest that saw her score to top wins at , in her first two starts. She meets a very ordinary line up of dogs in the last event tonight. She will have taken, great benefit from her first up run, and should have way to much early pace for her rivals in this. She should ping the lids, and set sail for the judge a long way from home. Great bet.

Cannington Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 5. Velociraptor 8.32 pm Vic time

Velociraptor, met trouble last start early after being well backed against the former Queenslander In Spades. He was expected to be miles to good good for the rest of the field, and had to only contend with, In Spades. He finished 3rd, and ran on quite well despite finding early trouble. He takes on a slightly harder field here today, but i expect this dog to be quite a handy animal. And he should have no trouble reaching top grade, something a few of these will struggle with. He has a nice PB of 30.55 and wont need to go any quicker to win this. Its not an easy race to win, but he is in the kennel of W.A's Leading trainer and surely that adds weight to his chances here andwith a safe start he looks right in this.

Best of Luck
