Greyhound Betting Tips Thursday 23rd January

Albion Park Greyhounds Race 7 Box 2 Aza Time, 9.52pm

This fellow hasn't been at his best since returning from a let up, but he hasn't been beaten all that far and should gain the run of the race here from box two. He should start at a big price in this very tough race, and he's worth having a eachway go at. He does have the early speed to lead or at least position himself right in behind the early leaders. Boxes one and three look the early pace and if Aza Time can stay with them in the early stages, he can overpower them mid to late in the race.
At odds of at least $12.00 he's worth a crack at here from the right draw.

Angle Park Greyhounds Race 4 Box 6 Benchmark, 8.13pm

Benchmark drops right down in class here for tonight's assignment. Box six makes it difficult, but he's got enough class and talent to overcome it. He's not a brilliant beginner but he does come away with them, so expect him to be in the leading division early. His PB is far superior to to most of these runners, and while he's not in that form at present, he can run somewhere near that here with a clean passage. Box one runner Off My Trout is the biggest danger and if he gets the right run along the rails he'll be right there in the end. Box eight is also a worry.

Dapto Greyhounds Race 6 Box 9 Misty Pearl, 9.14pm

Misty Pearl gets her chance here in this as the first reserve, and has enough speed to fly the lids and stay out of trouble. There's often a scrimmage at the first corner and it pays to be off and gone. She isn't all that strong, but she is capable of breaking 35.00 seconds here and that will be enough to win. She will be big odds in this and two of her past three performances have resulted in her two quickest runs.
At odds of over $10.00 and with her early pace she looks a fair hope.

Hobart Greyhounds Race 3 Box 8, Sonorous, 8.23pm

This dog has been going very well in his past couple and gets a great chance here to win. He should ping and cut across them here in this, and once in the bunny he will take some catching. He's got a fast PB here and is in good enough form to lower his PB. Box one runner Palooka is the likely danger having drawn the red and winning well at last start. He's well boxed and if he comes away he may be impossible to catch. But he does dwell at times and can be risky from the rails.
Sonorous should provide the value and he's worth a go at here.

Sandown Greyhounds Race 9 Box 1 Tee Brady, 9.55pm

The traveling Tee Brady seems to excel in Victoria and he's drawn the right box here to win. He's racing well and draws a field in which he can beat. He's a bit of a nemesis for me, as I'm unable to catch him when he does salute. He's a fast beginner and will appreciate drawing the red box. A couple of these dogs are going ordinary so he won't get a better shot than in this tonight. Skinny Vinnie could be the danger if he decides to ping and go. He's pretty good when he finds the bunny and can hold on to win. Tee Brady has the box and has no better chance then tonight, so stick with him.

Best of Luck
