Our expert tipster Brad Bugeja has been busy studying the form to ensure his tips are spot on, giving you a better chance of turning your hard earned coin into some juicy winnings.
Leg 1 – Horsham – Race 4: Elbow Room To Win $2.75
Elbow Room turned in a powerful performance to score here last week in 23.15 over 410m and he should be better suited to the 480m trip tonight. He isn’t the best of beginners but he does muster speed quickly and with the empty draw on his outside he should get plenty of room to drive through in the early stages. There are a couple of handy ones in this event but I can see him settling in the top three and he will be very strong in the run home.
Leg 2 – Ipswich – Race 9: Pocahontas To Place $2.75
Her most recent form doesn’t look too flashy, however she is much better than that and from the favourable wide draw she should be able to get across and settle in the top two early. She is a very talented chaser when up near the lead and she has a terrific record over this journey. Two starts back she led for most of the trip and it took the very strong Victory Prince a long time to reel her in. She is currently $9 to win with Sportsbet which is a great price but I think the place bet is the safest option.
Leg 3 – Gosford – Race 3: Bessy Boo To Place $1.40 (top two finish required)
Bessy Boo is a class act and he returned to form with a dazzling 29.58 Wentworth Park win over the weekend. Tonight he steps back up to the 600m journey and that should definitely suit as he has been powering to the line. Awesome Project is the obvious danger but there is a fair bit of speed in this event so I dont think he will be able to lead and that should play into Bessy Boo’s favour. He is $1.40 the place and I can’t see him missing the top two.
Multi Price: $10.58 with Sportsbet
$10.58 is a great price and it might be worthwhile taking another with Elbow Room the place as his race has only seven runners and a top two finish is required, so he could pay over the odds for the place.
