1st: $1,650 2nd: $475 3rd: $235.
Dyna Norfolk has come up with the good draw and with a clean getaway he should be able to punch through and lead all the way. He is normally a reliable beginner and back in November he scored a handy 29.78 win here and he then followed that effort up with two strong Meadows placings. There is very little pace drawn directly on his outside so he should get all the breaks in the early stages.
Baron Bling is drawn to get a nice sit behind him and he should fill the quinella spot, two starts back he overcame a slow start to score here in 29.93, with a clear run he is capable of going much quicker.
Jubilea Bale has the class edge but I dont like her from the wide draw, if she crosses she is a major player but I think she will be posted wide for most of the journey.
Galahad cold be the value, he is never far away over this journey and he should be suited by the class drop.
Top Four: 1 – 2 – 4 – 7
Exacta: 1,2,4/1,2,4,7 ($9 for 100%)
Quinella: 1 to rove with 2,4,7 ($3 for 100%)
1st: $1,325 2nd: $375 3rd: $190.
Droopy’s Bentley is the real deal and he looked super impressive when scoring at Shepparton recently in 25.13, there isn’t much speed on his outside so he should get more than enough room to muster speed and if he enters the turn in front he will be running some serious time.
Smoken Jimmy has a heap of talent but he doesn’t always show it, back in October he set the track alight at Wentworth Park when winning in 29.62, if he could repeat that performance he would take a power of beating.
Udon Bale must be respected, he scored back to back impressive Meadows wins in November and he just needs an ounce of luck early to feature.
Stylish Baroque must be included in your exotics, she has a good draw and she has the speed to lead. If she holds them out early she should be able to hold on for some minor money.
Top Four: 3 – 7 – 5 – 2
Exacta: 3,7/2,3,5,7 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 3 to rove with 2,5,7 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 3/2,5,7/Field ($18 for 100%)
