Open race to kick off the night but I think the speedy Magic Dream can get the job done at nice odds. Last time out he led for most of the trip and it took the classy Cawbourne Whip an eternity to reel him in. If he can ping and lead tonight he should give a great sight again and he should have enough in the tank to hold on.

I'm Pedro was a bit unlucky here last week and he appears to be getting back to his best, from the pink draw he should get a clear passage as they head into the first turn and if he can settle in the top three he should be there at the end.

Fantastic Sid is likely to start a short priced favourite and he should make an impact, he will need to step cleanly to have any chance though, because there is a heap of speed in this event and he can't afford to make too many mistakes.

Watto Lotto is the run on type in the event and it may be worth anchoring him for third and fourth in your exotic bets, he will get too far back to win but he always runs on and he should pick off a few stragglers in the home straight.

Spacecraft is the real deal and if he can step cleanly he should take a power of beating. Four starts back he turned in a very strong performance when placed here and he should have derived a lot of benefit from that run. He possesses ridiculous speed once he hits the ground and if he is given room I can see him leading them easily.

Martin Clegg has been racing in consistent and impressive fashion and his effort when placed here two runs back was eye catching. He is better suited to a rails draw but he musters speed quickly and with a good getaway he should be able to work his way across into a prominent position.

Supersonic Kaos is showing plenty of promise and he hit the line strongly when placed here last time out, he is going to settle back in the field again but he should be able to run home into a place.

Black Lagoon has the good draw and he too was smartly placed here last time, he is blessed with good early speed and from the red draw he should be able to hold a prominent position as they head into the first bend.

Mullaway is a star stayer in the making and should be suited by the small field. From the pink draw he should be able to carve across to the early lead and I dont think he will have too much trouble covering the journey. He has scored some scintillating wins at Albion Park in his brief career and he really does look suited in this event.

Eleazar has a good record here and she should have derived a lot of benefit from her two 520m runs here, from the red she should be able to drive through and settle just behind Mullaway in the early stages. I'm expecting Mullaway to get away from her mid race but if he happens to get a stitch late in the race, she should be there to pounce at the end.

Raramuri is a consistent type and she was far from disgraced when placed here last time out, she will be suited by the small field and she might be worth an each way ticket if she goes around at silly odds.

Stunning Ashberg is the only other place prospect, she was placed in her only try over this journey and she has been racing well here over the 520m journey of late.

Very tough race but I think the speedy Let It Develop should be able to find the early lead and he will prove too zippy for his rivals. In November he turned in some handy efforts when placed here and after three weeks off he went to Goulbourn and set the track alight with a 25.52 victory. If he happens to find the bunny early tonight I dont think they will be able to reel him in.

Kasinda should follow him across in the early stages and she has been placed in five of nine tries here, I dont think she can pick him up but she should have enough in the tank to hold on for the quinella spot.

Funny Bone has the good draw and she was a strong 30.29 winner here four runs back, she is a bit one paced but she should be in the mix for most of the journey.

Just Run It looks well placed in the pink draw and he has been racing in good form, he musters speed quickly in his races and if he can settle in the top three he should be there at the end.

Pierro Kade isn't known for his strength and he is better suited to a shorter trip but the last time he exited this draw he turned in a great performance when placed behind the classy Zipping Oscar. If he can get away with them on terms he should have the speed to cross and I would expect him to break up the field mid race, the last 50m is always a concern but I think he should have enough in the tank to hold on.

Le Sirenuse is a classy Queenslander and she is drawn to be in the finish, she recently made the final and this is probably the weakest event she has contested for a while, if she can handle the first turn she should make a big impact.

Classy Sahara is a speedy customer and she has a great record here, I'm a little concerned about the box draw but if she is given room to muster she is not without a chance.

Von Ryan rounds out the chances, he is aiming for a hat trick of wins and he has the speed to hold them out early, this is obviously a rise in class for him but he continues to get better with every start.

Frattini returned to the winners list with a brilliant 29.91 heat win and she should be able to go back to back. She got knocked over soon after box rise last week so with some luck in the first 50m she should make light work of this lineup. She is capable of probably getting down to the 29.70 mark and none of her opponents could get within six lengths of that type of run.

She's Andy is showing promise and she was far from disgraced when placed in her heat last week, she should get a nice cart across from Rubelly Magic in the run to the first turn and with a clear run she should settle in a prominent position, she is getting stronger with every run and she could be the value in this event.

Francine has the good draw and she has been racing in consistent fashion, she should get a nice sit behind Frattini for most of the journey and she should be able to hold on for some minor money.

Rubelly Magic rounds out the chances, she has electrifying early speed and if she crosses early she will prove very hard to reel in.

Another open race and I think the in form Fort Allen can lead from go to whoa, two starts back he won here in 29.97 and he followed that effort up with a placing in slick time. There isn't a lot of speed drawn on his outside so if he can step on terms he should be able to drive through and assume control as they head into the first turn, he is getting stronger so if he finds the bunny he should be able to hold on.

Cawbourne Whip showed a return to form with a strong 30.08 win here last week and she should make an impact again tonight, she has a fantastic record here and if she gets anywhere near her breathtaking 29.38 PB she will destroy this lineup.

Varcoe is well placed in the pink draw and he hit the line strongly in his top 29.90 win here last week, I'm a little concerned that he might get posted wide early but he does possess a good turn of foot so he might be able to avoid that.

Tee Brady rounds out the chances, he can be hard to follow at times but he has the good draw and when he sights the bunny he tends to grow a leg, if he goes around at a silly price he may be worth a saver bet.

Winsome Jacko is an absolute beast and with some luck in the first 50m he should take a power of beating. Two starts back he showed a tremendous turn of foot soon after box rise and he posted a 29.61 victory here, with a speedy beginner drawn underneath tonight he should get a nice run into the first turn and if he can settle in the top three he will take a power of beating.

Zipping Oscar continues to improve and his two recent wins here have been ultra impressive, in both efforts he has overcome early difficulties and then powered to the line, if he doesn't get posted too wide early he should be able to make a big impact.

Fire Elusive should lead them for a long way and he has won here previously in slick time, I dont think he can hold out some of the stronger types but he should be able to hang on for a place.

Addison Road is back to her brilliant best and if she can cross from the wide draw she is a major player, I'm not convinced she has the speed to cross so place claims look best for her.

This is probably the race of the night for me with the three star chasers set to do battle. Winsome Prince tasted defeat for the first time last start and he will be desperate to get back into the winners list. He has won his only try here and on that occasion he posted a solid 30.01, the track was off that night so if he can find the early lead tonight I'm expecting him to go sub 29.60.

Ella Has Class has the coveted red draw and she looked good in her explosive 29.68 win here three runs back, if she can turn in a similar effort tonight she give Winsome Prince something to think about.

Rivergum Drive is a serious star in the making and he blew away a handy lineup here last week in 29.72, I'm a little concerned about the draw tonight but if he gets away cleanly it should be a great battle between these three chasers.

Encosta Deplente and Dragon Emgrand have a bit of nuisance value about them, both have great early speed and both have turned in some solid performances in recent weeks.

Sir Redmond has returned to racing in fine style and with a clean getaway he should be able to burn across and lead throughout. Last time out he flew to the first marker before scoring at The Gardens in a slick 29.83, that was only his third run from a long spell so I would expect him to hit the line even better tonight.

Sweet Daddy Dee is armed with smart early speed and he can run time when he lands on the bunny, he has gone very quick here to the first marker in the past and if he holds them out he should give a bold sight.

Iona Champion is a smart short course speedster and she should be able to handle the rise in distance, she is having her first look here but if she handles the first turn she should give a great sight.

Bent Ability rounds out the chances, he is one of the stronger types in the event and if he happens to settle in the first half he should be there at the end.
