Largo’s Mistress made up for her luckless debut effort at Sandown with a top placing here last week in sizzling time. From the pink draw tonight she will get plenty of room to balance up and she should assume control after about 50m. Her personal time when beaten last week was very impressive and I think she could probably go a little quicker tonight if she lands on the lure.
It’s A Bird is in good hands and she caught the eye with a speedy 25.95 heat win, her first section was quite good and a repeat of that will see her settle in the top two early, she got a little tired in the run home but she will get stronger with more racing and I’m expecting a forward showing tonight.
Faith No Fear and Liam’s Entity round out the trifecta chances, both were very impressive on debut and both just need some luck in the initial stages to feature.

Bills Back is an explosive beginner and after a string of placings over the longer journey he should appreciate the drop back in distance. The draw isn’t great tonight but he is dropping considerably in class and he has won here previously in a breathtaking 22.29, with a little bit of luck in the first 30m he should win easily.
Slambam is in career best form and he beat a solid lineup here last week in 22.58, he has gone as low as 22.24 here previously but the track was on absolute fire that night. From the good draw he should be able to blaze across and settle in the top two early and he looks a safe quinella prospect.
So Confused is yet to win here in 23 starts but he has been placed in 11 of those tries, I dont think he can win tonight but he is a must for the exotics.
Top Four: 5 – 8 – 3 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Trifecta: 5/1,3,8/Field ($18 for 100%)
Trifecta: 5,8/5,8/Field ($12 for 100%)
Trifecta: 5/8/Field ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 5 to rove with 1,3,8 ($3 for 100%)
